What a Weekend

Hope everyone had a great Bank Holiday, I know I did. Well from what I can remember of it anyway. Saturday I went upto Villa Park to watch Villa Play Blackburn, Villa ran out 1-0 winners. It was then on to Upton Upon Severn to my Girlfriends Parents pig roast. We stayed up until the early hours star watching and drinking beer.
Sunday saw more of the same, riding round the field on mountain bikes, and drinking more beer.
Monday we took our dog Bentley to Coventry for the Leicester Dog Show where he came 3rd and 5th in his classes. It was then back to Upton for a car boot and family visting again.
Because of this hectic weekend The Memorabilia Shop took a back seat, so today has been busy with updates and promotion. Tomorrow will see more promotion through leaflet s in letterboxes.
That`s it for now, more tomorrow.

Sale Over

The sale on Manchester United products has now finished unfortunately. Although they are back to full price the photographs still make an ideal gift for all United fans.

Hosting Problems...................Again

Hi everyone. There hasn`t been much to report this week from The Memorabilia Shop apart from having trouble with my hosting company which I am trying to solve by finding a new company. I sent them an email asking how to do something with the postal prices. Two days later they replied saying that they had sorted the problem, little did I know that they had removed all of the postal prices from the website. Needless to say I wasn`t very happy considering that I had only asked them how to do something.

Big Hit Weekend

Hope everybody had a good weekend. I went upto Old Trafford to watch the football, I even had a Shop poster in the car window. It obviously worked because when I managed to get to my pc today I found that we had gotten loads of hits since Saturday.

Apart from that things have been a little bit quiet lately, I will keep you informed of any updates shortly.

Australia and New Zealand

The postage rates for Australia and New Zealand have now been added to the website.
Today I recieved a pen with The Memorabilia Shop written all over it, a nice marketing tool but i cant really afford it at the moment.

It`s been a bit quiet at the website today, so I`ve been trying to think of ideas to brighten up the home page. If you have any ideas please let me know.

More later.

Back to business, The Memorabilia Shop took a few hits over the weekend, which look promising. Had to order some more ink today, used loads on posters and flyers so look out for them popping up wherever Villa play around the country.

Still no Joy

Well I rung 1and1, my web hosts and spent 25 minutes going round in circles, I even threatened to cancel my contract and all they said was I respect your decision. I gave them my mobile number and asked her to get her supervisor to ring me once he was off the phone. She said he couldn`t do that, I said that I was on the phone to them for 25 minutes the least they could do was to ring me. So the message was passed on, but 20 minutes later still no phone call.

More Problems and Headaches

Well I was looking forward to today, I had so much to do to The Memorabilia Shop website, I`ve got customers waiting and some new ideas. Unfortunately things don`t always go to plan do they? I got home and my nextdoor neighbour was laying a laminate floor in the room where my PC is, then using my Mum`s laptop, I couldn`t access my web designers website, not that I`d recieved the email from them telling me how to sort the problem out. So what was looking like a promising day has slowly started to fall apart, hopefully things will get better soon.

Gliches, Orders and Emails.

Well, things are going along quite nicely at The Memorabilia Shop today. We`ve had an enquiry about some items, the only problem being that it has come from America. I have been spending the last hour trying to configure the shop so that we can allow postage rates for abroad. It hasn`t worked so I am waiting for an email from the hosting company who will hopefull be able to sort the problem out. Apart from that small glich, more leaflets have been delivered and we`ve had a fair few viewings.

Page views

Things seem to be working, we have had more views of The Memorabilia Shop website than normal, so things are beginning to look up.

Advertising Progress

Well yesterday I actually got some time to print some flyers off and I managed to deliver a few this morning. I also did a bit of posting on various websites I frequent so hopefully the The Memorabilia Shop signature will be seen by quite a few more people by now.

New Week

Well it is the beginning of a new week for The Memorabilia Shop. For some reason my schedule allows me some more time to devote to it, which means I should be able to get some more advertising done and maybe even spare a little time to update the layout of the website.
